When renting the whole lodge, both kitchens and both common rooms are available. This means you do not have to wait for one another when cooking or eating and can enjoy your meals at your own pace.

Kitchen for the 1st floor

The kitchen for the 1st floor is fully equipped with everything guests may need during a shared stay. From cutlery, glasses, bowls, plates, mugs, pots and pans to a microwave, electric cooker with oven, dishwasher, two fridges, toaster, coffee machine and kettle.

The kitchen is intended for guests staying in apartments 1, 2 and 3 on the 1st floor. When renting the entire mountain lodge, both kitchens are available to guests.

Common room for the 1st floor

This common room has a wood-burning stove, so guests can light a fire and make the atmosphere even more pleasant. Firewood is included in the price of the stay. The room is also equipped with a bar counter, 2 tables with chairs and benches, so it comfortably accommodates all guests staying in apartments 1, 2 and 3 on the 1st floor. Thanks to the bar counter and sink, guests like to use the room for enjoying draught beer, which can be ordered together with a tap system. If guests bring their own keg, the tap system can be borrowed.

When renting the entire mountain lodge, both common rooms are available to guests.

The kitchen for the 2nd floor is also fully equipped with everything guests may need during a shared stay. From cutlery, glasses, bowls, plates, mugs, pots and pans to a microwave, electric cooker with oven, dishwasher, two fridges, toaster, coffee machine and kettle.

The kitchen is intended for guests staying in apartments 4 and 5 on the 2nd floor. When renting the entire mountain lodge, both kitchens are available to guests.

This common room also offers a wood-burning stove, 2 tables with chairs and benches, so it comfortably accommodates all guests staying in apartments 4 and 5 on the 2nd floor.

If you would rather not cook during your stay and simply want to relax, we can arrange meals for you at a nearby restaurant – breakfast, half board or full board. The choice is yours.

Mountain Hotel Arnika

If you do not wish to cook during your stay, you can use the dining options at a nearby restaurant located approximately 250 metres from Apolena.

The restaurant is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. If you prefer not to arrange your meals individually, half board or full board can be agreed. The restaurant offers a pleasant setting and good cuisine.

This form of dining is suitable, for example, for company stays, training sessions or team-building events. It is also appreciated by sports clubs and groups who want to spend their time in the mountains mainly on their programme, training or rest — rather than on cooking for themselves.

A small bonus in nice, sunny weather

After a hike, a cycling trip or a day of skiing, you can end the day by sitting by the grill and letting the mountain evening pass at its own pace. Guests have access to an outdoor Weber charcoal grill. Charcoal is prepared on site, so you do not need to look for it during your stay and can start grilling right away.

Those who enjoy evenings by the fire will also find a fire pit at Apolena for roasting sausages or other treats. The necessary equipment is prepared on site, so all you need to do is sit outside, light the fire and let the mountain evening slowly fade away.
